Friends since college, we’re a group of like-minded adventure enthusiasts on our way to see the world. 

We met at an adventure program where we led backcountry experiences, taught kayaking clinics, set rock climbing routes, and more. This is where we first discovered Type Two Fun, a type of fun that is so exhausting and challenging that you don’t even realize you had fun until it’s over. 

Along the way, we’ve collected a combined 38 years of design, engineering, and manufacturing experience. This technical insight, combined with our experience using products that often just don’t work for a life on the move, motivated us to start Type Two Labs to make gear for adventure. 

Our first product offering came from a eureka moment on a road trip. Ray and Chris are lucky recipients of genetic conditions that require them to tote medication around on our adventures and Jeff, well…Jeff’s just really tall.

While Ray’s epilepsy, and Chris’ CPVT have not been a barrier to seeing the world, the current pill cases on the market certainly are. 

We’re proud to be launching a Kickstarter for our innovative pill case because we hope it will enable you to live your life to the fullest in the same spirit we do.
